About Oni Escandar
Oni Escandar (1972, San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina) is an engineer and writer. The granddaughter of immigrants of Syrian and Spanish descent, she resides in the United States and holds Italian citizenship—a blend of roots and paths that reflects the spirit of seeking, learning, and discovery inspiring her books.
She is the author of *Te cuento* and *Te leo*, as well as *Spill the Tea* (the English edition of her first book). Her works explore intuition, consciousness, and personal transformation.
She is currently in the process of publishing her third book.
WHY DO I WRITE?
An experience that I could not explain through logic changed my way of looking at life forever. What began as a personal quest for answers led me to review my own experiences, investigate the world of intuition, and explore phenomena that until then were unknown to me. I am an engineer by training, and for much of my professional life, I worked in fields related to computing, teaching, graphic design, and sign language interpretation for the deaf. I never imagined that I would end up writing books. In fact, I do not consider myself a writer. My works were born from the need to understand what I was living through and to share that journey with others. Faith has been a guiding thread present from the very beginning. My quest did not distance me from God; on the contrary, it allowed me to expand my spiritual understanding and find new ways to comprehend intuition, consciousness, and human connections. This journey gave rise to Te cuento (2022), Te leo (2023), and Spill the Tea (2024), the English version of Te cuento. Currently, the third work (not yet published) is completed, finalizing the trilogy that invites the reader to join me on a journey that begins with questions and continues with discoveries that transform the way we observe life.

Oni Escandar (1972, San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina) es ingeniera y escritora. Nieta de inmigrantes de ascendencia siria y española, reside en los Estados Unidos y posee ciudadanía italiana, una combinación de raíces y caminos que refleja el espíritu de búsqueda, aprendizaje y descubrimiento que inspira sus libros.
Es autora de Te cuento y Te leo, y de Spill the Tea (edición en inglés de su primer libro). Sus obras exploran la intuición, la conciencia y la transformación personal.
Actualmente, se en cuenta en proceso de publicación de su tercer libro.
¿POR QUÉ ESCRIBO?
Una experiencia que no pude explicar desde la lógica cambió para siempre mi manera de ver la vida. Lo que comenzó como una búsqueda personal de respuestas me llevó a revisar mis propias experiencias, investigar el mundo de la intuición y explorar fenómenos que hasta entonces desconocía.
Soy ingeniera de formación y durante gran parte de mi vida profesional trabajé en áreas vinculadas con la informática, la enseñanza, el diseño gráfico y la interpretación para personas sordas. Nunca imaginé que terminaría escribiendo libros. De hecho, no me considero escritora. Mis obras nacieron de la necesidad de comprender lo que estaba viviendo y compartir ese recorrido con otras personas.
La fe ha sido un hilo conductor presente desde el comienzo. Mi búsqueda no me alejó de Dios; por el contrario, me permitió ampliar mi comprensión espiritual y encontrar nuevas formas de entender la intuición, la conciencia y los vínculos humanos.
De ese recorrido surgieron Te cuento (2022), Te leo (2023) y Spill the Tea (2024), la versión en inglés de Te cuento. Actualmente esta finalizada la tercera obra (no publicada aún) que completa la trilogía que invita al lector a acompañarme en un viaje que comienza con preguntas y continúa con descubrimientos que transforman la manera de observar la vida.
